ONLY AUTHORIZED SIGNATORIES MAY APPROVE AND EXECUTE CONTRACTS ON BEHALF OF LINCOLN MEMORIAL UNIVERSITY.
Authorized signatories for the University are President, Dr. Clayton Hess and Vice President for Finance and Administration, Christina Graham.
When renewing or entering into a new contract with an outside entity, all contracts must be provided to the Office of the General Counsel (OGC) Contracts Department at [email protected].
Utilizing a template, created by LMU and approved through the OGC, is the quickest method to obtain an executed contract. Templates are not to be edited by any department except the Office of the General Counsel. These are available to employees on MyLMU. Please allow a minimum of four (4) weeks for processing all contracts.
All contracts must be provided to OGC for signature, even if you are utilizing a preapproved template.
When providing the paperwork for signatures, all contracts must be complete, approved by the department, and include the following:
Failure to provide completed or whole contracts will result in the contract being returned to the originator and extend the process of executing signatures.
Once the contract is received by Contracts it will be reviewed and, if the above listed information is complete, it will then be provided for electronic signatures.
University signatures are only to be obtained through the electronic signature process initiated by the Office of University Counsel.
If any additional signatures are required internally, you must indicate this information in the email provided to Contracts.
